Stayed here for a week over Spring Break. We had a great time. The infinity edge pool looking out over the ocean was amazing. The beach stretches for miles and is great for morning walks. Watch the sunrise and the sunset. Construction is on going but not intrusive at all and we weren\'t bothered by it. We went out for a night boat trip on the nearby lagoon and experienced the phenomenon phosphorescence which is a must if you are there when there in no moon. Rooms are fully equipped with everything you need.
While we had our doubts, my family and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Vivo Resorts in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca.We were greeted by Clint, the property manager, who went out of his way to make sure our needs were taken care of and we enjoyed our stay at the beach. The condos are spacious, well-equipped and extremely clean. The grounds are also great, with a swim-up bar and quick beach access. This is without a doubt the best deal you are going to find in Puerto Escondido. I think our only complaint was the quality of the road that goes from the main highway to the resort; it\'s in pretty bad condition and it can take at least 15 minutes to get from the condos to the highway that takes you to Puerto Escondido. Either way, it\'s well worth it.
We rented at Vivo for 7 weeks from Dec. 10 to Jan. 29 and were really pleased with everything. Our condo was a beautiful two bedroom and was plenty of room for the two of us. By opening up the sliding patio doors, it gave us even more space. The weather was gorgeous. If you are looking for hot Mexican weather, this is the place to be. It only rained once in the middle of the night and the locals were all surprised that it had as this is their dry season. Other than that, never seen a raindrop all the time we were there. 30+* everyday!! It has a beautiful pool with swim up bar and now has restaurant facilities where the food is excellent and affordable. We loved watching the huge waves and peliquins diving for their food. Also saw whales and dolphins offshore. Make sure you take your binoculars when you go. One day a whale put on a spectacular show for us coming straight out of the water a number of times. The staff at Vivo are so friendly and there to help you at all times. There are lots of things to do in and around Puerto Escondido and as our time came to a close, we realized that we hadn\'t covered everything. Soooooo! I guess we will be going back!!!

We stayed at the Vivo Resort for a week and it was amazing. The staff are friendly, helpful and can speak english. The restaurant serves delicious meals when you don\'t want to cook yourself. The condo experience is great as you can prepare food yourself or book a meal at the restaurant. When you go to the beach you can walk for ever and not run out of beach. The condos are well appointed and very comfortable. The balcony doors open right up and gives you that open air living experience and opens up onto a large deck with ocean view. A very good experience and I will be back
