It is secluded yet in a safe and elegant neighbourhood. You can relax in the hammock and enjoy the parrots flying above you or watch the howler monkeys which often come close to the house.

As a solo female traveler, I like to find places where I can be free to roam but at the same time have someone near in case of any emergency like funny noises in the night or a bug that needs to leave immediately. The owners, just far away enough, were so kind to brief me quickly on what to do for the next couple of days and then they vanished. The 15 min walk to the beach and grocery store made it so easy not to depend on transport. And the gran finale, a very deep healing massage right under the palapa, while the toucans picked away at a papaya on the nearby tree.
