Well equipped kitchen, pool, garden, full size washer and dryer, fruit trees, car port. Great beach for surfing, and swimming, walking for miles on virgin beach with scenic jungles that come right to the edge of the beach. Quaint small town offers a variety of restaurants, a small well stocked supermarket, and great atmosphere at the 2 great local hangouts: Surf Mi sports bar and restaurant near the beach and great food at Los Almendros restaurants. Everything is within a 5 to 10 minute walk. There is frequent bus service to nearby towns of Jac and Parrita, as well as the capital San Jose (airport) which is only 1 1/2 hours away. |

We loved this property and the wonderful quaint little town of Esterilllos. About 5 blocks to a beautiful beach and close enough to the main highway to be able to go to other locations for day trips. Yolanda, the owner, was so wonderful to work with....she was always happy and quick to answer any email questions I had. The rooms in the home are comfortable....it\'s great to have a home to just make yours for a few days. There is not air-conditioning and we were there in a particularly crazy heat wave. There were fans in every room but if you aren\'t used to the humidity, it can get uncomfortable. Fortunately, there is a refreshing pool in the backyard that we enjoyed. The town of Esterilllos is such a great little town....not a beach trendy place. You just mix in with the locals. There is one local market and a couple of restaurants, so it really has everything you need. Also, not the easiest to find your way around Costa Rica, but Yolanda provides maps and directions which were essential.
