Vista Mar Apartment is a very nice, new, well constructed 2 bedroom Apartment over the water in Almirante Bay. With our unique location on the Isthmus of Bocas Isla. we get nice sea breezes from the Caribbean and breathtaking views of Almirante Bay with the mainland mountains in the distance. It is a great place to watch the sunsets too. We are a 60 cent taxi ride or 5 minute bike ride from all downtown attractions and just enough out of town enjoy the serenity. |

4 of us rented the condo for a week in August. We were very happy with the place, location and value. The master bedroom is a really a large suite. The views and the breezes from the sea were awesome. Just a short bike ride to the heart of town. Very safe and the neighbors were very nice and helpful with suggestion on things to do. Biking out to Bluff and the La Picina was just one of the highlights of our trip. Also there is Beso del Drago, a local restaurant, 2 minutes walking distance that was a favorite of ours. Sterling rents out Paddle Boards, Hobie Cat and other watersports toys. Thank you Sterling for having us.
We stayed for 2 months, mid-January to mi-March, 2014. The condo is very comfortable and well equipped for an extended stay. The listing description and photos accurately reflect the property, which was clean and well maintained. Sterling (owner) was very responsive to all of our needs and always available when needed. Some of the most spectacular beaches in the world are within a short taxi or bike ride on this island, or a 15 minute water taxi to one of the nearby islands. Red Frog, Tortuga, Polo and Wizard beaches on the island of Bastimentos were especially beautiful. There are also some quality restaurants nearby, Guari-Guari within a 5 minute walk of the condo, or El Refugio, OM, and Mayacuna in downtown Bocas. The owner also provides kayak and bike rentals at very reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone interested in exploring this beautiful region of Panama.
