The Elk House is situated in the lovely private community of Lake Harmony Estates, Pennsylvania. The Elk House is a 3 story, 3200 square foot house that has 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths. This great mountain home has tongue and groove wood throughout the house as well as wood trim and hardwood and ceramic floors. We have a large Great room that has a cathedral ceiling, a 47' Flat Screen TV with DVD and a stone gas fireplace. The modern kitchen is perfect for cooking for large families. It has a refrigerator, a ceramic cook top stove, an island in the center and a breakfast bar with seating for 3. It also comes with a built in oven & a separate microwave. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basic cookware. Off of the kitchen is our dining room area that has a 8’ dining room table that seats 10. In addition there is another family room with a ½ kitchen & a flat screen TV equipped with a DVD. Our 24' x 17' game room holds our new 55' Flat Panel TV, 8' pool table and professional air hockey table. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer for your convenience. To top if all off, a relaxing 6-8 person hot tub, which is professionally cleaned between tenants, awaits you on the back patio. There is also a gas grill for your bbqing pleasure. House has cable, wireless and AC. The home is a 3 minute drive to Big Boulder Ski Resort and a 8 minute drive to Jack Frost Ski Area. There are paddle boat rentals available on the lake during the summer season. The house is located 1 mile from the H20 indoor water park and the Galleria at Split Rock. The home is minutes from numerous summer and winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, horseback riding, paintball, hiking, white water rafting, fishing, hunting, mountain biking, shopping, and golf. Lake Harmony is located 90 miles from NYC & Philadelphia. Lake Harmony is a private powerboat lake that permits fishing, power boating (If you are bringing your boat, please call our office for a copy of the registration form) , water skiing, sailing and Jet Skiing (There are no jet ski rentals). We are located 1/2 mile from the beach. Lake Harmony has a private sandy beach with a lifeguard, a swimming platform, picnic tables and a beach volleyball court. We recently rented from Barry and I have to say you will not find a more responsive owner. Barry and his wife are super friendly and offered some great places to go. The family loved his property. Plenty to do, the kids loved the game room and also the large kitchen table to play games. The house was nice and convenient to everything. We made great memories with our kids and had an amazing time with our family!! We will definitely be renting again from Barry!! Thank you!!
Cannot wait to get back to this house for our third time. It was perfect for our family group. Plenty of common space, the large game room with new air hockey table and pool table is amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Beds were comfy and the house is very large so there are separate spaces for everyone to go - family room, game room and main living room to name a few. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and extremely responsive. The Lake Harmony area is also great for those that love the outdoors.
Stayed at this house several times and have always enjoyed my stay. House is huge, well maintained. We love using the hot tub, pool table and ping pong table and were pleasently suprised to see the addition of a air hockey table.
Our multi family vacation every year was great thanks to staying in this house. There\'s plenty of room for everyone to hang out together and also lots of rooms for everyone to have their own space when needed (since there\'s so many of us). This is our second time renting. Barry is great with getting back to you and checking in. Would definitely recommend and rent again!!
My wife, children, and grandchildren (5 boys ages 10 to 15) spent a too short ski trip to the Poconos staying at Elk Lodge. It was perfect for our needs: plenty of room for all to spread out without feeling crowded, good cooking and food prep area, dining room table that comfortably seated all for meals and those for Risk or other board games, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, a second food area (frig, microwave, etc), several tv\'s (although we didn\'t watch much), game room with pool, foosball, ping pong, spacious hot tub, and close to ski slopes and restaurants. The owner was very responsive answering questions via e mail almost immediately. All in all very nice. If we return for future Poconos trips we will certainly try to rent here again.
