We have just stayed in apartment 422. Everything in place for a relaxing holiday. Lovely views from the balcony. Great to sit out and eat your meals or lie on the beds placed either end of the balcony. Wonderful swimming pool. Easy reach of shops and beach. We enjoyed walking over the golf course on Sandy Lane,early morning before the sun gets too hot. Would recommend a stay here and we will return
This location was perfect for us. The view from the balcony sun lounge is really breathtaking - especially when the sun sets. The gardens were full of fragrant shrubs and trees. We saw many tropical birds and a family of green monkeys visited early every morning. Other residents were mostly retired, quiet, polite and friendly. The apartment was clean and some updates have been done since these photographs. It was very comfortable to lie on the daybeds on the balcony watch the sea changing, the birds and enjoy the view of the garden and pool. We were telephoned by the owner's agent after a couple of days to check that all was A1. She also rang just before we left to wish us bon voyage. The cleaner arrived as promised. We felt that everything was managed very efficiently. We love Holetown and enjoyed the Festival, partly because it is so well-attended by local people. The apartment is very convenient for the supermarket and close to lovely beaches as range of restaurants. We actually enjoyed the Chinese restaurant in the gardens as much as any! It was better than food we have had in Singapore and much better than our local Chinese in England. We would definitely stay here again if there was availability.
This year we stayed in Doris and Peter Stephens apartment 422. The standard was extremely high, with a large, well furnished lounge with dining area, lovely bedroom and newly furbished shower room and toilet, and a modern, fully equipped kitchen. There is also a charming balcony with table and chairs, and two day beds. This all overlooks a beautiful tropical garden, large swimming pool, and great little bar and Chinese restaurant. The staff at Golden View are charming, helpful, and there is great security. The beach is a 10 minute stroll away, and the same distance to a large comprehensive supermarket " Masseys". Public transport is also just there. We come back to this delightful place year after year, and always to Doris's, though this is the first time in their 422 apartment. This is a glorious part of Barbados, but everywhere on the island is easy to reach. Roll on next year, and thanks Doris
"We are repeat, long stay visitors to Barbados and are delighted to have found 422 Golden View. It is a light and airy top floor apartment with a wonderful private balcony and a sea view. Our preference is to self cater and the kitchen is very well equipped with all that is needed to look after yourself. Golden View is excellently located with just a short walk to a supermarket and the shops. There is a large swimming pool with sun loungers provided and it is in wonderful well kept gardens. The beach is a short walk away and is great for swimming and snorkelling. It was a pleasure to deal with the owner and the booking procedure was a reassuringly straight forward process. The local manager is excellent, extremely caring and helpful."
My husband and I stayed in 422 and had a fabulous 3 weeks. The apartment was very clean,well equipped and has a balcony which overlooks the beautiful tropical gardens and large pool, monkeys were regular visitors in the mango trees! There is 24hour reception with very helpful staff. It is walking distance to all amenities, supermarket,restaurants,bars and amazing beaches. We loved it and have booked again for 2020
