Everyone during our 7 day stay was so friendly and treated us like we were famous, we like to think we are too. From the housekeeping staff, Claudio or water aerobics instructor, to our bartending staff at the swim up bar we were well taken care of. Ivan, who handles the turtle rescue was awesome let us know just what and when the turtles were hatching and being released it was so cool watching them. I would recommend this location to anyone, close to downtown and any night action you could want.
We stayed at Casa Dorada in one of the Penthouses with our 3 children and it was the most amazing holiday ever! The penthouse was stunning, the view spectacular, the people so friendly and willing to do anything for you, the food was beautiful and overall it was simply stunning. We highly recommend Casa Dorada and would definitely stay there again. We can't wait to go back! Marshall was so fantastic, extremely helpful and attentive. He gave us so much information on where to eat, places to see and things to do. The penthouse was better than we expected and we are so grateful for the privilege of staying there. Thank you so much!!!
We stayed in PH11 at Casa Dorada and it was fantastic. The location of the unit is probabaly the best in Cabo, as it is top floor looking toward the marina. Great veiws of the bay in the AM without the blinding sun, and some of the best sunset views we have ever seen. The 2 bedroom PH is very large with 3 large beds and room for roll aways that we put the kids on. The unit has 3 full baths, a kitchen and a huge deck with spa. There was more than enough room for our 6 guests. We want to thank Marshall for his guidance and tips on where to go eat, what activities to try and even who to connect with for services. Marshall did a great job uf getting us prepared for our trip, even though we had not been back to Cabo in 15 years. Thanks again for your support. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Dorada and would certainly consder returning for another week. if you want to be close to everything in cabo, the Mango, the Office, the marina and downtown, this is a great location.
Try to imagine waking up to an amazing sun rise as you are walking out to the balcony you grab your binoculars then watch whales breaching in the bay along with sea lions this is how every morning started for me while I was staying at the casa dorada! We had the best view and we were super close to everything so we could just walk no taxi needed! If you just need a relaxing day hop on the elevator and go down to the beach or spa both are to die for! If you are looking for somewhere to stay while visiting Los cabo you should definitely choose the casa dorada and rent this room you will have a trip of a lifetime!
My first trip to Cabo was amazing, staying in the time share allowed me to experience the REAL cabo. Marshall Ryerson sent suggestions of places to go, things to see and experience, from the mexican festia night, sunset dinner cruise following the coast line of beautiful homes built into the rock, fresh seafood every night. Location, location, location, we were able to walk to the marina, the unique shopping of the local merchants, food, people, sunrises and sunsets.Cabo Wabo, Mango Deck, The Office... Whale watching every morning as local fishing boats were heading out for the fresh catch of the day. Para Sailing, SUP, swimming in the Sea of Cortez, it was a paradise vacation. Housekeeping service was excellent and done in a timely manner, staff was extremely helpful and incredible personalities, offering suggestions if asked.
Unit #619 was beautiful. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The unit was very clean throughout our stay,mwith daily maid service included. The view was amazing---looking straight out at land's end. The location was ideal----right on the beach, and very close to numerous restaraunts, and a short walk to the mall and Marina. The beds were comfortable.mmThere were only a couple things in the way of giving 5 stars, the bathrooms were poorly lit, making it difficult to shave and put on makeup. The kitchen was not fully equipped. There wasn't even any paper towels or napkins. And lastly, coffee and filters should always be included. Other than those few minor things, our stay was fabulous,!!!!
My family stayed at Casa Dorata from July 4-10th and we are so glad we booked it with Marshall. Everything he told us was true. Our check-in was very smooth, his restaurant recommendations were great and it has a great location close to the Marina. The marina and many of the wonderful restaurants were within walking distance. We decided after a few days to do the 90 minute presentation. We were not interested in becoming timeshare members but we couldn't pass up the freebies. Our presentation lasted 90 minutes and we received a car rental for 3 days, discounted waters sports and a discounted deep sea fishing excursion. The deep sea fishing trip was amazing! My two teens loved it! We caught yellow-fin tuna, mahi manhi and almost snagged a sailfish! The company we used was Edith and they were very good!!
We had a wonderful family vacation! Casa Dorada, once you get pass the sales people, is a beautiful resort, right in the heart of Cabo. Everything is within walking distance including great restaurants, the marina, casino and plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy! Marshall Ryerson, owner, was great to work with and provided a wealth of information from where to go deep sea fishing to where you to cook your catch.
Had a great time. Room was beautiful and Maid service was excellent. Enjoyed the beautiful sunset on one of our three decks every evening. Great pools and beach. Loved having lunch on the beach as well. My only issue is with the staff trying to get you to attend a "Vacation Club presentation" You will be enticed with a free breakfast or gift basket. Just stick to your guns and tell them flat out NO as I did several times.
The view was spectacular. All the staff at Casa Dorada were very friendly and always willing to help. We splurged one night and ate dinner at El Farallon. It was an once in a lifetime experience. Very expensive but well worth the experience. We will be going back to Casa Dorada.
This place is incredible. The service is impeccable and the staff very attentive. The view from the balcony is magnificent. We had plenty of room for everyone in our party. Working with Marshall was great. He was informative and prompt to answer any of our many questions. He also gave some great suggestions on things to do and where to eat. I can only hope to rent this beautiful property again. Thanks Marshall!!
We had a girls trip in a two bedroom. The accommodation were great and it was great to have us all in the same room.
We are owners here and have a Penthouse. Every year we come they have added something or made what is here better. The cleaning staff are amazing. They cleaned all our windows one day and we have a lot!! The floors are mopped every day. They sometimes spend 3 hours on the place. The WI Fi is fast so we love that. It's free for us but probably because of the Penthouse. Although it can be a little noisy at times that's because you're where the action is. And you can walk to the Marina and to many restaurants. We love to take the Tropicat Sunset sail. The staff are the best I've ever seen. I told them while at breakfast that I was going to to call housekeeping to get a softer pillow and the waiter insisted on taking care of it for me!
Marshal, the owner, was the most professional and informative through out the booking and stay! If we were to ever go back, we would not book thru anyone else! Resort was beautiful, location incredible, unit was very comfortable and people are very friendly and accommodating! My whole family were very impressed and had a great time! Thank You!!!
Marshall was very knowledgeable about which boats to go out on, as well as which restaurants to have the fish cooked at. He also suggested activities: swimming with the dolfins/whale sharks, and a boat trip to Lovers Beach.
We booked this condo very easily. Marshall is great to work with. The place is in front of the arch. Amazing views. Best beach to swim. You have everything withing walking distance. Best Restaurants, bars, water sports etc. Casa Dorada has a very friendly staff. Our 5th time there! Their units are very spacious. Best location in Cabo!
We spent a week at Casa Dorada for our daughter's wedding. Marshall was great to deal with and the resort is awesome. The service and rooms are amazing and the location cannot be beat!
We would highly recommend staying at the Casa Dorado on Medano Beach. Marshall was super easy to work with and very accommodating!! I loved the extra attention they gave us as we are celebrating our wedding anniversary. The staff was outstanding, the grounds, the rooms the, entertainment and the food top-notch! We look forward to our visit in 2018!
Every thing is convenient, Can walk almost everywhere. Cab rid to anywhere is only $8.00. Unit very clean and well a ppointed. Sandy loved her massage at the spa.
A great location with fine restaurants, the marina, the beach and clubs all within walking distance. No need for a car and taxis are close if you need one. The hotel itself is fine. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Varied restaurants and bar in the hotel.
Accommodations at Casa Dorada On Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas Mexico were unbelievable/spectacular and what was nice about it was the ease of setting up the reservations with Marshall. It was very stress-free and easy to deal with Marshall. He is also very knowledgeable on the things to do in the area. An example is recommended fish charters that are actually into catching fish. We caught fish and followed his recommendation to have vacuum packed so we could bring them back home frozen and didn’t have to worry about anything. He was also very knowledgeable on other activities to do in the area and in the area and was attuned with people who were safe and easy to communicate with which is a big thing when you are in a foreign country especially Mexico I would highly recommend Marshall for your future visits there and enjoy Cabo. He helped make this the best vacation Ever!
