Capistrano Beach is located 1/2 way between San Diego and Los Angeles just off the 5 Freeway. We are within 60 to 80 minutes drive to most 'want to see' sights in Orange County, San Diego and Los Angeles. If driving isn't what you want to do on your vacation, within a 1/2 mile walk there are 4 restaurants (Mexican, BBQ, Sushi and Italian) and a sports bar with outside seating. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, and golfcourses in the area, as well as a seasonal rental stand for various beach rentals (SUPs, etc. - but we provide boogie boards and beach chairs). This home is a true luxury property and very RARE among beach rentals. Our home gives you the privacy and comforts of a 5 star resort but the convenience of your own home. This house is a work of art. The layout is perfect for a large family. You never feel crowded or on top of each other. This home is meticulously maintained, furnished and stocked with every imaginable kitchen tool. The master bedroom is our favorite room. The carpet is thick and luxurious. The bed is wonderful and the view spectacular. Our family loves the beach and the waves which are right outside the huge sliding doors. We are close to a basketball court and beautiful beach walks. We have been to other vacation houses and on cruises. But for our family of 15 there is a unanimous consensus that this is the best vacation place ever.
Our family of 6 travels frequently, stay in larger homes, and we are very particular. This home and location are impressive. The home was clean and truly has everything needed to completely relax and enjoy being RIGHT on the beach. The private access made for a relaxed and sparsely populated beach, with miles of sand for exploring and enjoying. The owners were attentive, friendly, and helpful. A previous review called the home a 'work of art'. I thought that statement was likely overblown, and am happy to report it was not. This home is an amazing creation of beauty and luxury. If you are looking for a higher end home with everything on a private beach in Southern California, this location is my recommendation!
This gorgeous home was the perfect place for our family of 11 (6 adults, 5 children) to spend making everlasting memories on the shore and in the spacious, well-appointed home. The first thing that takes your breath away is the unimpeded ocean views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Having a yard with the large hot tub, comfortable seating, grass lawn and beautiful landscaping all steps away from the sand, was paradise for all 3 generations. The spectacular outdoor living spaces are only enhanced by the architectural beauty of the home's interior. The design elements are beyond impressive - enormous vaulted ceilings; open floor plan; gourmet kitchen; artwork; skylights; indoor koi pond; bedrooms all with bathrooms so spread out every family group had privacy; the massive master bedroom/bathroom (steam & sauna)/huge closet/fireplace with seating area/large balcony.....and ohhhh the VIEW!!
This house is exquisite. It is beautifully designed, gorgeous artwork, everything is in working order, and so posh! The hosts were welcoming and very kind. They supply everything, so all you need to bring is the food. The only caveat is that it is not great for small children. There is a koi pond at the entrance (we were worried they might fall in) and expensive artwork and breakable decorations. We had a few families and children, and luckily nothing was broken. I highly recommend this place if you need a luxurious getaway!!
