Appalachia at its best. A mountain cabin re-created within the basement (first floor, ground level) of my home for your pleasure. Private entrance(s), covered deck/patio, open deck, great view, very private setting.
The location has an East-West orientation, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Great place to sit, relax, and enjoy your favorite beverage.
The cabin is fully self contained. It has its own kitchen, bath with shower (no tub), and a small living/dining area. One bedroom with a king size bed.
Centrally located between I-40 and I-26, on Busbee Mountain, the property borders the Biltmore Estate and blends in with the Blue Ridge Parkway at an elevation of 3,346 feet.
Well behaved pets are more than welcome!

We had a wonderful time. We loved sitting on the porch sipping our coffee in the morning and sipping a glass of wine in the evening, enjoying the view of the mountains surrounding us. The porch is covered so you can be out of the sun and the rain. George greeted us when we arrived and was very helpful in suggesting places to eat. We will definitely stay there again when we travel to Asheville.
This was a great get away place for the week. It was so nice to sit out on the deck of the cabin and listen to the birds, the sounds of nature, and just chill. Took some great pics of the sun rises and the local wild turkeys. You may even see a surprise bear or two. The Blue Ridge Mt. Parkway is close by, as well as the local attractions. My cat gives it a thumbs up! Lastly, George is a wonderful and personable owner/host.
My husband and I got away for a much needed 2 night vacation. We just loved the privacy of this location and the beautiful scenery. George was an incredibly nice host. Perfect place for 2 people. Shower was a bit small to move in. Great driving distance from Biltmore Estates. Will be back for another visit to this location. His nightly price is extremely reasonable.
This is my second time at this cabin and it was even better. The place is perfect with a view to die for as well so much nature around to see. We saw bears, wild turkeys, raccoons and lots of birds. It is paradise and George is just so nice and helpful. Can't wait to go back!
Clean, comfortable, private, and terrific views. Close to town, but just far enough to relax on a private deck with a bottle of wine and soak it all in.
